Juniors impress at Peterborough Junior Regatta

The Junior Academy made the trip back down to Peterborough to take on some of the top junior schools and clubs in the country at Peterborough Junior Regatta.

Having skipped National Schools Regatta this year, this was the first opportunity for the Junior Academy athletes to size themselves up against some of the big schools and junior programmes and like the weather, it was a scorcher!

The J14 and J15 rowers showed their toughness and came away with some fantastic results -

  • J14 8x+ Bronze A Final

  • WJ14 8x+ 4th A Final

  • WJ15 2x 4th A Final

  • J14 4x+ 2nd B Final

  • J15 1x (Kershaw) 2nd B Final

  • WJ15 4x+ 2nd C Final

  • J14 4x+ 2nd C Final

A huge thanks to the parents who towed, to all the parents for their support on the lakeside and for the nice new gazebo, and to the junior coaches for all of their hard work.
