Junior Inter-Regional Regatta and Start Camp

Our juniors from the Leeds Rowing Club Junior Academy had an excellent weekend in April racing at the Junior Inter-Regional Regatta in Nottingham and the GB Start Regatta.

A huge well done to Tommy, Lucas and Jack for representing Yorkshire at the JIRR.

• Tommy - 10th in J15 1x

• Jack and Lucas - 4th in J14 2x

This was a fantastic performance for all three in their first ever major regatta and multi-lane event.

Away from the JIRR, one of our J15 girls, Liv was invited to take part in the World Class Start Camp Regatta. Liv made her mark and came 5th in the B Final, in her first ever multi-lane regatta and racing over 2000m.

A huge thanks to the junior coaches for their work, to the parents and to Matt Mole and Yorkshire Start for taking our boats to the JIRR and giving Liv the opportunity at the Start Camp.
