Ellen Buttrick - Paralympic Champion!

A huge congratulations to Leeds Rowing Club member and GB Rowing Team Paralympian Ellen Buttrick on her win in the PR3 Mixed Coxed Four at the Tokyo Paralympics. A superb win for Ellen along with her crew mates Erin, Ollie, James and Giedre.

Ellen was inspired to take up rowing after the success of the GB Squad at London 2012 and took up rowing as a junior at Leeds, before heading off to university to continue rowing. Upon returning to Leeds, Ellen joined the GB Rowing Para-Development Squad and then became a full-time Paralympic Squad athlete.
